A Good Reason for Holding Off

I used to think that whatever I had to say was either profound or profoundly funny. Now, I think about how much I want to go back in time to family, bosses, teachers, clients, co-workers, partners, employees, friends, and strangers and ask for a do-over.

Yuck is the feeling I have when I remember specific occasions upon which I demonstrated (at ten decibels) that I didn’t have a clue.

But, I have learned a little discernment through the experiences. It just took a while.

Today, I’ll remember the advice of the man in the picture.
