How to Find the Overwhelm Relief Valve

In case of :

  • Suffocation by unwanted circumstances
  • Drowning in the ocean of mounting tasks
  • Poisoning by lethal doses of hopeless thoughts
  • Heart attacked by rejection
  • Fire of anger, jealousy, or revenge
  • Unconsciousness caused by boredom


  1. Break the glass (of your narrow construct and walk outside)
  2. Break down problems (into bite size pieces)
  3. Break into someone else’s hope (and borrow strength and wisdom)

Not trying to make light of despair, just remembering that often in my own tight places, a very slight adjustment in my perspective was all that was needed.
