The Fine Line That Seperates Accountability from Stress and Guilt

untitled (2)

Many driven and responsible people have a very difficult time with this type of advice. Lao-Tzu is not advising irresponsibility, rather, the letting go of things outside our control. The fine line is found by not neglecting these four important things:

  1. Proper and passionate preparation
  2. Doing our best to execute well
  3. Being detached from a specific outcome, and
  4. Trusting that all will work for good

If we skip step one and two, we sacrifice our responsibility to others and our gifts.  If we skip step three and four, we sacrifice our mental and physical health.
