I love the Dr. Who episode where Vincent Van Gogh visits his own work in a museum. It always moves me to think about how much we don’t know about our own influence. Before Van Gogh died, he had only sold one painting.
On the days we feel the most lost, useless, or unsure of our value, it helps to remember that we can’t ever really know the impact our lives have had in the past, or will have in the future.
