Face the Facts

When we feel disgusted with someone, when we are running out of patience, when we have gotten it into our heads that we are somehow superior, this W. H. Auden quote reminds me that we are all in this together. It reminds me that it is much easier to gloss over our own crookedness than it should be. It reminds me that not just certain irritating rivals, politicians, neighbors, villains, relatives, coworkers, or exes need major adjustments, but I do too.
