Expect that the people you meet will be intriguing.

Reflect in your actions what you desire in others (i.e. interest, confidence, kindness, compassion, courage).

Work on becoming what you respect instead of complaining about what you don’t.

Mirror the admirable qualities and character you admire in others.

“If you enter a party consciously trying to make a good impression, you probably won’t end up making one. That happens only when you are thinking about the other people in the room.” – C.S. Lewis

I don’t know about you, but I am attracted to people who are confidently unaware of themselves, because they are too busy thinking about the people they are with. These people are like a magnet, drawing the best people and the best out of people.

  1. That one line “Work on becoming what you respect instead of complaining about what you don’t” is a great.

    • Thanks for the encouragement! The amount of time and energy guys waste complaining about women and women waste complaining about men is doubly draining. If we would just invest in becoming what we admire about them instead…wow…big contribution to the airspace!
