Two-Minute Tune-Up 7.18.12 Stephen Covey Wanted to Stamp Out Crime

I thought this one might be worthy of reconsideration. Happy and Productive day to you!

Two-Minute Tune-Up

He died 7.16.12 leaving a legacy of making life more liveable for people at work and at home.

I just read in the Wall Street Journal that one of the ten books he was writing dealt with putting an end to crime:

“We show a way of reducing crime 90% to 95% by getting the policemen to give positive tickets, catching people doing good things, rather than just negative tickets.”

Hey, I’m there. And just think what it would do for the reputation of the profession!

What I really like about this is that Covey was using his passion to make a difference in any and every walk of life. He didn’t have it all together but this is what he was about.

What are you about?
