I totally get into this GaGa song because it reminds me to accept people for who they are…and to accept myself for who I am…without qualifiers.
I was petting our big fat black cat the other day, thinking about what a gift she is…just as she is. She didn’t have to do anything or accomplish anything to be worthy. She just IS because she IS. She has no other purpose really…other than to love and be loved.
It seems that if we judged ourselves this way, we might be much more satisfied with our own lives and, possibly, easier on others.
Maybe we were all just born to love and be loved.
